Conditions of detention
The English Cocker Spaniel is comfortable living both in the city and outside it, in a private house. It is enough to provide him with active walks twice a day, the total duration of which can be up to 2-3 hours. At the same time, the dog should be occupied with playing with the ball or running: it needs to splash out energy. In summer and winter, in order to avoid sunstroke or hypothermia, it is worth monitoring the well-being of the pet and, if necessary, reducing the hours of walking.
These dogs, like other spaniels, are distinguished by an excellent appetite and a high tendency to overeat and become obese. Therefore, the dog’s diet must be monitored, giving it strictly limited portions of high-quality and balanced food. Many manufacturers offer food specifically for this breed.
