  • Step on the tip of the leash with your left foot to secure the dog’s position.

  • Hold the treat above the puppy’s head and move it from side to side.

  • During this, your arm should be bent at the elbow. The palm facing forward should be at the level of your face. This is a special gesture for the “Voice” command.

  • Simultaneously with the movement of the hand, command: “Voice!”

  • A puppy attracted by the scent of a treat will want to catch it and eat it. But since his position is fixed by the leash, he cannot jump to the treat. In such a situation, an excited pet usually starts barking – and this is our goal.
