Christmas Moss Mini
Mini Christmas moss is believed to belong to the moss genus Vesicularia, the English trade name is “Mini Christmas moss”. Sometimes erroneously shipped as Taiwan Moss Mini.
As the name implies, this type of moss looks like a miniature version of Christmas moss. Forms dense and regularly branched, triangular “branches” similar to spruce.
It is unpretentious to growing conditions and is well fixed on hard surfaces, for example, stones and natural snags. This feature gives ample opportunities when designing an aquarium, so it is widely used both in professional aquascaping and home amateur aquariums.
The only limitation is that Mini Christmas Moss is not recommended to be planted in the ground. Rhizoids (similar to moss roots) are poorly fixed to soil particles and are unable to penetrate deep into the substrate.
