Most domestic cats live between 12 and 17 years on average. But Rubble is an unusual cat, he does nothing like everyone else. Last year in June, he celebrated his 30th anniversary. And now he’s approaching the world record: Cream Poof, a cat from Texas, lived to be 38 years and 3 days old.

The Maine Coon lives in Devon, England. In 1988, Rubble moved in with Michelle Foster. The girl soon turned 20 years old. She took a kitten from a friend: the cat gave birth to kittens from that one, and the kids were placed in families.

For Michelle, who at that time had already left her parents and lived alone, the kitten became a true friend and companion. But she could not even imagine that Rabl would live with her for more than 30 years. And she is very happy about it!

Michel says: “Rabl became irritable in old age.” But the hostess is not angry and forgives the pet all the whims.

On the day of Rabl’s 30th birthday, he was invited to the veterinary clinic, where he was treated to his favorite puree, had a full examination and was presented with a lot of balls for the game.

30 years for a cat is like 137 years for a human! Is it really impressive? Moreover, Rabl is still in great shape!

And how old is your cat?
