A few rules for placing a cat tray

First of all, according to experts, it must be borne in mind that privacy is not important for pets when they are about to go to the toilet. On the contrary, nooks and crannies — for example, behind a closet or behind a sofa, cats are regarded as a trap. At the same time, it is also not worth putting the tray on public display. It is important that, sitting on it, the pet can control what is happening around. So, according to experts, the ancient instinct of self-preservation of animals is realized.

Cats may also refuse to go to the tray because it is installed in an inconvenient place for them. For example, kittens or elderly animals may not have time to run to the toilet. At the same time, experts advise not to take into account extensions, pantries, attics and closets. For residents of private houses, experts recommend placing trays on each floor.

One more rule — for owners of several cats. It is strictly forbidden to place trays next to each other. Pets perceive them as one big latrine, so for reasons of preserving the individuality of the toilet, one of the animals may ignore it.
