5 rules for choosing corrective ammunition for dogs

Sometimes it is useful to use corrective equipment on a dog to solve problems in the dog’s behavior. What to choose and what to avoid? We offer you 5 rules for choosing corrective ammunition for dogs.

1. Remember that corrective dog harness does not solve problems on its own. It can only help speed up the achievement of results when using competent techniques.
2. A harness is the most humane way to control a dog that pulls too hard on the leash.
3. Halti (a muzzle with a ring for attaching a leash located under the lower jaw) requires extreme caution when using.
4. The strict collar, the half choke and chokehold, and the electroshock collar can lead to new problems (psychological and health-related).
5. Corrective ammunition cannot be used for life. It is used only for the period of behavior correction and work on a specific problem.
