The choice of a feathered friend must be conscious. It depends on how happy your life together will be. So, which bird to choose?

• If you are a beginner and when choosing a “talker” hesitate between Jaco and Amazon, it is better to prefer the latter. Amazons speak well, but at the same time they are more affectionate, less touchy, better tamed and adapt faster in a new environment.

• If you have experience in keeping such birds, you can choose a Jaco, which is considered to be perhaps the most intelligent parrot and speaks better than other parrots. However, Jaco requires a lot of attention, sometimes turns out to be vindictive, and if he is bored, he can get sick or pluck his feathers.

• If you don’t have a lot of time to devote to a bird, it might be worth choosing a cockatiel or budgerigar.

They are perfectly tamed, easy to train and talk well, do not differ in touchiness, do not get bored in solitude and are playful. But sometimes they make quite a lot of noise.

• If communication with a pet is not so important, and at the same time you want to admire a beautiful bird, weavers, finches or lovebirds can be an excellent choice.

• When it comes to singing, no one can compare with a canary. In addition, canaries are easy to keep and care for.

• If you are completely confused, read the literature, chat with experienced owners. Be sure to find out all the details of keeping and caring for the bird you like before making a final decision. It is better to refuse a purchase than to face unpleasant surprises.
• Before you go for a bird, prepare everything you need: a cage, food, care products.
