The use of snails in cosmetology

The beneficial properties of snail mucus are already known today, so there is nothing strange in the fact that this component is often included in many types of cosmetic products.

But in Japan, experts acted even easier, instead of compiling complex cosmetic formulas, they simply use snails directly on the face of their visitors. So what is meant by the strange name “Snail Mask”? It’s simple, live, the most ordinary snails are placed on the visitor’s face. The mucus of these mollusks is curative. The strange thing is that this procedure first appeared in Japan, and not in France. Today you can get such a service in the salon “Ci: Labo Z” in Tokyo. But we are sure that very soon, many other salons will provide such joy.

One of the girls working in the salon shared that snail maxi is useful not only because of moisturizing the skin, but also because it helps to get rid of dead cells and heal sunburns that are invisible to the eye. The cost of such an exotic is approximately $240, which is not that much for Japan. 4 snails, which were grown in sterile incubators, are placed on the client’s face. The salon employee makes sure that the snails do not cause discomfort, and do not get on the eyes or lips. All this lasts an hour. Then the patient undergoes several more procedures, in which snail mucus is also involved.
