Cats have a reputation for being independent and sometimes unfriendly creatures. This stereotype is not unfounded, and you may be surprised to learn how sociable and gentle representatives of some breeds are.

1. Maine Coon.

The rating of the friendliest breeds is headed by the Maine Coon, or American cat. And don’t be afraid of its large size: this cat with a pleasant character gets along well even in a family with small children. While taking care of the Maine Coon’s long, silky coat can take a lot of your time, it will help strengthen your friendship.

2. Siamese cat.

This is probably one of the most mysterious breeds. He is famous for his regal posture and amazing eyes.
