Homeless cats saved the restaurant from bankruptcy

2019 was a turning point as the world was swept by a pandemic. She hit everything in her path. The human losses were colossal. Literally all spheres of human activity, including private business, also suffered. One of these was a Japanese restaurant. Its owner, Naoki Teraoka, suffered heavy losses, but the life’s work of the Japanese was saved from complete financial collapse by … homeless animals.

Diorama was the name of the restaurant, which turned out to be half a step away from liquidation. In the city of Osaka, it was the only one of its kind: the interior of the institution was decorated with a miniature railway. Now not only mini-versions of trains move along the rails, but also fluffy cats, in which the owner of Diorama found salvation, and they found salvation in him.

Everything started out simple. A tiny kitten accidentally caught the eye of the owner. Naoki Teraoka felt sorry for the squeaking creature, which was not even 10 days old, sheltered him, providing a warm shelter in the lobby of the restaurant. Named: Simba. Soon, his whole family came to the kitten for help: so the first pets – Simba’s mother cat, his brothers and sisters – became not just guests of the restaurant, but also its guests.

When the restaurant sheltered a whole family, the owner decided to change the concept of the establishment, and speak directly and openly about his good deed, helping more and more cats every day. For pets, Naoki allocated the whole second floor of the establishment, where guests can spend their time in the company of fluffies if they wish.

For especially enthusiastic guests, there is an opportunity to take a cat or a cat, becoming their best friend forever. Now Diorama has about 114 pets, many of which quickly find a home among the guests of the restaurant.

The concept was well received by the locals. The Japanese restaurant has become famous throughout the area: for a delicious meal and healing communication with pets, there are whole queues. The Japanese business, based on a good deed – helping pets, is flourishing, and with it it reminds society that by doing good deeds, a person becomes rich both spiritually and, as it turned out, materially!
