2 months is the age at which most puppies move into a new home. This event is a big stress for any kid, which is why at first it is extremely important to follow the recommendations of the breeder and feed the puppy the same as he ate at home. All changes to the diet are introduced gradually.
Feeding puppies at 2 months should be frequent: 6 times a day and at the same time, that is, literally every 3 hours with a break for the night. If you don’t have the opportunity to feed your puppy as often, ask someone else to do it for you. The daily norm when feeding a puppy of 2 months is evenly divided into 6 servings.
You can feed a puppy from 2 months of dry food or natural products. If you prefer dry food, choose premium or super premium puppies based on breed size. If you prefer natural feeding, use only high-quality and fresh products.
Keep in mind that with natural feeding, most likely, you will need to add vitamins and minerals to the diet. However, before purchasing them, check with your veterinarian.
Remember that a 2 month old puppy food bowl is left for 15 minutes and then removed. If the puppy did not finish eating, then the portion was large – it is worth reducing it. But clean drinking water should be constantly available in a separate bowl. Water must be changed at least twice a day.
Do not neglect these simple rules. After all, proper feeding of a puppy from 2 months is the key to his health and a happy life.
