Alexander and Cayetana

One day, a cynologist friend called me and told me that a Cane Corso was looking for a new home, and the dog lived in very bad conditions.

 I never dreamed about this breed, I wanted to get a bull terrier, but I thought that since the dog has so many friends, it’s worth helping her. After all, the poor fellow changed 4 owners in 3 days!  The first mistress of the dog had a hard time – and this is to put it mildly. Everything could have turned out well for the second mistress, but the child developed an allergy. The third lady, who always dreamed of a Cane Corso, after a day of Cayetana’s stay with her, said that the dog was “too big”. The people who adopted the dog almost fell into despair, and I offered to provide an overexposure for the unfortunate animal. When I saw this exhausted girl, I just liked her, and after the first day in the house, she exceeded all my expectations. Yes, she has flaws acquired in a past life. She is a little cowardly, did not trust people too much, but at the same time she remained kind and affectionate, sociable. And I realized that the dog will stay with us. Cayetana gnawed through a thousand and one pairs of shoes, ruined the furniture (and will continue to spoil it), but these are all the little things in life. Cayetana is kind, intelligent, not in conflict with other dogs, easy to train.
