  1. The name of the Airedale Terrier breed is translated as Eyre Valley Terrier.
  2. The Airedale Terrier is not just a terrier. This is a “multinational fusion” of terriers, shepherd dogs, Great Danes, hounds and cops.

About 19000 paperboys chipped in for these statues – for a cent. And Theodore Roosevelt wrote that “the Airedale Terrier is the best breed, embodying the virtues of all other dogs without their shortcomings.”
