Active dog breeds

Dog owners probably often notice one or another type of behavior in their pets, and if there is more than one dog in the house, you can see how they all have different characters, just like people. There are among them too active, and too lazy, and moderately playful, and even touchy and capricious, and the truth is, everything is like with people.

However, things are a little easier with dogs. As a rule, a certain breed is characterized by a very pronounced set of qualities that it is best for the pet owner to get acquainted with in advance in order to know whether the temperament of a particular breed of dog will suit him. The main thing to pay attention to is the reaction to external stimuli, energy, and, as already mentioned, temperament. The more mobile the pet, the more demands are placed on its owner, because the obligatory conditions for energetic animals are heavy loads and long walks. In addition, it is advisable to take your pet to specialized dog training clubs.

Among the most active and mobile dogs, hunting and service breeds are in the first place.

Active dog breeds

The Border Collie is considered to be the ideal variant of an active dog breed. Dogs of this breed not only brilliantly cope with their direct duties – grazing, but are smart and quick-witted, they are easy to train, and in some types of dog sports they have no equal. Border collies are ready to work tirelessly and enthusiastically almost all day long.

An activity-filled life should also be provided for the American Pit Bull Terrier. With a strong, muscular body, these dogs are incredibly energetic and tireless. Since this breed was originally designed for dog fighting, pit bull terriers do well in classes in sports types of training, including Frisbee and dog tracking.

Also active breeds of dogs include sledding northern huskies, huskies and malamutes. These breeds of dogs feel comfortable only in the presence of long and active walks. You need to understand that without appropriate loads, such dogs will suffer, behave ugly, and it is possible that over time they can run away from their owners.

It is worth remembering about another breed of dogs bred for hunting. Greyhounds are distinguished by their endurance and energy, so it is extremely important for them to always be in motion. And such activities as racing for a mechanical hare give them a lot of pleasure, replacing the real hunt.
