5 signs of a good posture

When choosing a stable, competent owners are primarily guided by the conditions for their pet. For a horse, the main thing is the ability to satisfy its natural needs. Here are some signs that will point you to the stable where your horse will be really comfortable:

  1. Good, quality feed, stored in specially designated dry rooms with ventilation. Hay is purchased in large volumes, with the calculation of its normal amount for each horse, and its composition includes valuable fodder crops or decent meadow grasses.
  2. Large area for walking. Spacious safe levadas with walking for at least 4 hours (better if all daylight hours). It is good if there is a territory for walking with a pasture or the opportunity to put an electric shepherd for the summer.
  3. Responsible attitude towards horses by the staff, competent approach to feeding. Horses should receive hay throughout the day and not be hungry at night. Drinking must be organized ad libitum. Also, watering and feeding takes place in levadas during walking.
  4. Safe, suitable stalls. The minimum size of the stall is 3×3 meters, more is better. However, in the case of walking all daylight hours or more, this size is quite suitable.
  5. Calm, adequate environment in the stable. There should be no constant tension, quarrels and scandals. Staff and officers must be calm, and they must approach their work with all responsibility, observing safety precautions.
