Why do dogs take so long to find a place to litter?
Each dog has its own ritual of preparing for “relieving needs”: some trample from paw to paw, others are sure to look for grass for the toilet, and others dig holes. Sometimes the process takes quite a long time.

The author, having studied the issue on the Internet, came across an article that described serious scientific work on a given topic. Several scientists have been following dogs going to the toilet for two years: as a result, more than 2 such cases have been described in detail. As a result, the researchers came to the conclusion that dogs choose a place for a toilet according to a magnetic field.
The statement is controversial, and the author of the blog did not agree with this interpretation. He is inclined to believe that the four-legged friends display their old wild instincts with their rituals: in this way they mark the territory. At the same time, in the process of searching, a signal is given to the digestive system that the body is ready for emptying.
