Wavy corridor
Corydoras undulatus or Corydoras wavy, scientific name Corydoras undulatus, belongs to the family Callichthyidae (Shell catfish). Catfish is native to South America, inhabiting the lower basin of the Parana River and several nearby river systems in southern Brazil and the border regions of Argentina. It lives mainly in the bottom layer in small rivers, streams and tributaries.
Description
Adult individuals reach a length of just over 4 cm. Catfish has a strong stocky body with short fins. The scales are modified into peculiar rows of plates that protect the fish from the teeth of small predators. Another means of protection is the first rays of the fins – thickened and pointed at the end, representing a spike. The color is dark with a pattern of light stripes and specks.
Behavior and Compatibility
Peaceful friendly catfish. Prefers to be in the company of relatives. It gets along well with other Corydoras and non-aggressive fish of a comparable size. Such popular species as Danio, Rasbory, small Tetras can become good neighbors.

Being native to the subtropics, Corydoras wavy is able to successfully live in relatively cool water at around 20-22 ° C, which makes it possible to keep it in an unheated aquarium.
