Vibrotherapy in the treatment of turtles
Vibrotherapy is used by all well-known herpetologists in America and Europe for stagnation and atony of the gastrointestinal tract (constipation, dysbacteriosis, accumulation of gases). With vibration, the intestines begin to contract and the contents move, provokes the digestive tract to work as it should. With constipation, dysbacteriosis, etc.
A scheme is applied for 30-40 minutes 2 times a day in strong vibration mode until digestion is normalized.
For vibrotherapy, put the turtle in a plastic container where it can’t get out, without water, and place it on something that vibrates. For small turtles, you can use your smartphone and the vibration app, where you can set the time and intensity. For larger turtles, you can use a washing machine in the “Spin” mode, a vibrator, a massager, etc. Also, a vibrator can be tied to the plastron of large turtles.
