“Not!” sausages

According to statistics, 86% of owners treat their cats regularly. Unfortunately, many “please” pets are not at all what they should be. Raw meat, sausages, cheese, dairy products, and sometimes even fruits and vegetables are used. All this causes significant damage to the health of the animal: unbalanced and unhealthy food causes obesity, irritates the digestive system, and provokes the development of various diseases.

You can give a clear example of the harm that treats from the table cause to a cat. So, if the owner gives the pet one sausage, then with it the animal’s body receives 140 kilocalories, or 67% of the recommended daily allowance. This is comparable to the amount of calories that a person receives by eating 6 standard servings of french fries. It is easy to imagine how much the risk of overeating increases.

Correct solution

That is why the owner, who wants to treat his beloved cat, should opt for specially designed treats. They take into account the special needs of the cat.

Treats for cats are moderate in calories. At the same time, they contain all the substances and minerals necessary for the animal in the optimal proportion: copper, manganese, iodine, vitamins A, E, D, B6 and others.

Cats are known picky eaters (scientifically repertoire) and therefore very picky about their diet. It’s no surprise that manufacturers offer such a picky animal a wide range of flavors and textures. Apart from pads, a pet can be treated with rolls, cream soup, straws, fillet pieces – the list is long. As for flavors, a variety of combinations are possible: salmon and cheese, beef and malt, hare and liver, and many others.

It is important to remember: a treat is a treat, so that the cat gets it in doses.

The recommended daily portion is usually indicated on the packaging of the product. For example, if we talk about pads, then they should be given at the rate of 4 pieces per 1 kilogram of the pet’s weight.
