Alexander: “My favorite exercise is shoulder inward. It can be performed in all gaits. This exercise helps to straighten the horse and maintain contact with the outside rein, because we all know that the basis of dressage is the work of the inside leg to the outside rein, thanks to the “shoulder in” exercise we achieve this. Shoulder-in at the canter helps the horse work his shoulders higher and bring his hindquarters under the body more.”

Alexander also spoke about his life hacks: “I believe that when leaving the battlefield, you don’t need to pinch, it’s important to remain calm. Think of it as the same kind of work we do every day.”
