Maintenance and care, decoration of the aquarium
Optimal conditions are achieved in soft, slightly acidic, warm water at temperatures up to 28°C. For a flock of 5-6 fish, you will need an aquarium of 60-80 liters. High water quality depends on the smooth operation of the filtration system and regular maintenance. The latter refers to the weekly replacement of part of the water with fresh water and the removal of organic waste (feed residues, excrement).
The design is arbitrary, while maintaining a balance between consolidated areas for swimming and places for shelters in the form of thickets of plants. Lighting is moderate or subdued. Floating plants can be used for shading.
Food
In the home aquarium, it will accept popular dry, frozen and live foods of a suitable size.
Behavior and Compatibility
Peaceful moving fish. Prefers to be in a flock of relatives, solitary content is undesirable. Compatible with most species of comparable size and temperament.
