Permissible age of parents at breeding
When breeding dogs, a minimum and maximum age is set for both parents.
So, males of all breeds can participate in breeding up to 10 years (inclusive), females – up to 8 years (inclusive). The minimum breeding age varies by breed.
In the following breeds, females are allowed for breeding from 15 months, and males from 12 months:

But keep in mind that one bitch can give birth no more than 6 times. The interval between litters must be at least 6 months.
