Pearl

Pearl (Pearlscale Goldfish – English) is distinguished by a compact body of a spherical shape, the scales are rounded and convex, outwardly the fish resembles a golf ball. Features of the structure of the body and scales determined the name for this variety of Goldfish. There are variations with head growths similar to those found on the Oranda, these are known as the Crowned Pearl. Breeders introduced various color variations: blue, black, chocolate, white interspersed with yellow or red, but the most famous and popular color is red-orange.

Pearl

The pearl has good endurance and the ability to tolerate temperature drops, making them excellent candidates for the first fish. However, there are limitations in the choice of neighbors. Since the fish are very slow and clumsy, they will lose competition for food to other more active species. It is recommended to keep in a species aquarium, or to add similar species, such as Ryukin, Nymph, Telescope.
