In 2012, my Persian cat died – she was 14 years old. And I decided not to become attached to animals anymore (it’s very hard to lose them). She grieved for two years. During this time, she retired, raised her grandson … and wanted a dog. Searched the Internet for a year (given ads). And so, in Odnoklassniki, I saw a photo from one of my friends from the Homeless Animals group and disappeared … and now I’m crying …
From the height of the past years, I now know what love at first sight is. I was scared that I wouldn’t be able to pick it up. I wrote in the comments under the photo, they answered me, phoned me, and after 50 minutes happiness settled in my house with the name Musya – the love turned out to be mutual. We are together all the time, we walk a lot (we live in a green zone with ponds) – there is where to turn around. Musya turned out to be a very active hunter. I taught her to commands (elementary), we can walk without a leash. I lost 7 kg in 16 months of such walks. We walk in any weather – that’s why Musya has a wardrobe. I bought a couple of things, and then I started sewing myself. Without false modesty – Musya is the most fashionable in our area (loves compliments). In the plans are several winter sheepskin coats and denim for the summer. On November 29, it was a year and a half of our life together – they flew by in an instant. I realized that for almost 62 years of my life I was truly happy and in complete harmony with myself with my beloved Musya. In my youth, I had dogs – club, fashionable (at that time), and it seemed to me that they were the best … But, Musya, a soul that suffered, so grateful, so tender, so loving … When I leave the house (whether for 15 minutes or 3 hours), he greets me as if I had gone to war … kisses me, slippers at the door – “thank God, I’ve returned.” There were a lot of acquaintances among dog lovers. There are also from shelters, foundlings. Musya makes friends selectively (does not like aggressive dogs). He patronizes small ones, somewhere he is even jealous. He doesn’t like it when more than 3 dogs walk – here you can say: “Firebirds don’t fly in packs” – they always move to the side. We understand each other from a half whisper and are happy together! I think that a dog that has experienced cold and hunger will become the best friend, the most devoted creature. No wonder a famous person said, “The more I get to know people, the more I love dogs.”
