I took the child from the kindergarten, and we went sledding down the hill. There we saw a rather large dog that ran among the children and tried to play with them. Since there was not a single adult on the hill, it became clear that she was homeless. In those days, frosts at night reached -25 degrees and, of course, the dog felt sorry. We, never having gone down the hill, brought her home and fed her. The dog happily ran up to us, without even thinking, went into the entrance, the vestibule and, finally, into the apartment – as if she had known us for a long time. cereals, bones, equipped a booth and an aviary. And we decided that my husband would take this dog to work. Having eaten, the dog fell asleep right on the carpet in the corridor. But when her husband came, she growled and did not let him near her, from which we concluded that men offended her. After all, on her paws she had already healed, but rather deep wounds, on which the hair no longer grew. We decided that she would stay with us for a couple of weeks until she got used to it, and then her husband would take her to work. We did not plan to leave the dog with us, since we already had a cat, and we lived in a rented apartment. On the first morning, the husband took the dog for a walk, and she ran away from him along with the leash. For about 30 minutes he chased her around the area, but she did not approach him. Returned home without her. I was so upset that I quickly got dressed and ran to look for the fugitive in hot pursuit. I asked everyone I met, and fortunately for me, the girl walking towards me said that she saw a dog with a leash under the balcony of a neighboring house. I found her about 2 kilometers from our house, and as soon as she called, she immediately ran, started jumping, licking face … In general, we were both happy to find each other again. It turns out that I found it twice. Today we cannot imagine life without our beloved girl. The child kisses her every day, strokes, hugs, and when we go on vacation, looks at her photos every day. We wish every family to find such a faithful, devoted, affectionate friend. With the advent of a dog in our house, smiles, happiness and laughter have become much more. The photos were taken by Tatyana Prokopchik especially for the project “Two legs, four paws, one heart”.
