“I’m talking to a dog…”
Many people talk to their dogs like people. In Sweden, a study was conducted (L. Thorkellson), interviewing 4 people. 000% of them admitted that they do not just talk to dogs, but trust them with their innermost secrets. And 98% seriously discuss problems with pets, which they consider to be moral authorities, and such conversations help make important decisions. Why do we love talking to dogs so much?

First, a dog is an almost perfect listener. She will not interrupt you to wave her hand and say dismissively: “What is this? Here I have … ”- or, without listening to the end, start dumping on you a pile of their problems, which at this moment do not interest you at all.
Secondly, the dog provides us with unconditional acceptance, that is, it does not criticize or question our opinion. For her, the person she loves is perfect in every way, no matter what. They love us in every way: rich and poor, sick and healthy, beautiful and not so…
Thirdly, in the course of communication with a dog, both the animal and the person produce the attachment hormone – oxytocin, which helps us enjoy life and feel more self-confident and happy.

Some people are embarrassed to admit that they talk to dogs, considering it a sign of stupidity. However, on the contrary, it has been proven that people who talk to animals have a higher level of intelligence.
Dogs are entirely dependent on us. But we also depend on them. They cheer us up, inspire self-confidence, help maintain health and make us happier. So why not talk to them heart to heart?
