How to give a cat liquid medicine

If you need to give your cat medication, it is important to do so calmly and confidently. The less nervous you are, the calmer the cat will treat the procedure. How to give a cat liquid medicine?

1. First of all, stock up on a plastic pipette. In no case do not take a glass pipette – it is dangerous!
2. Fix the cat (you can use a towel for this purpose).
3. Keeping the cat in a natural position (paws down), slightly tilt back her head.
4. Place the pipette tip in the corner of the cat’s mouth (near the “cheek pocket”).
5. Pour in the solution in small amounts. It is important to let the cat swallow every time.

It is very important to infuse only a small amount of liquid cat medicine at a time, otherwise the liquid may leak from the mouth or, worse, enter the respiratory tract.
