Mating in natural conditions is best suited for this breed of dog, when the female receives positive emotions as a result of signs of attention from the male. That is, it is important to create such conditions that the toy terrier, as it were, looks after his “lady”, seeking her favor.

You should be aware that the first mating process of toy terriers may fail, while the male may have problems with mating in the future. Therefore, you first need to understand whether the bitch is ready for mating, if she actively resists, it is better to interrupt the process without injuring the psyche of the animals. Since the penis of a male dog increases during intercourse, it is difficult to immediately exit it from the female’s vagina. The behavior of the female during mating can be different, being aroused, she may whine or grunt, and even try to free herself. Under natural conditions, this process runs more smoothly.

There are times when toy terriers are mated without using a lock. The reason for this may be the overexcitation of the male. In this case, a sharp movement of the female can provoke the end of mating. If in this case the animals can be kept, fertilization occurs.

Mating toy terriers in natural conditions is almost impossible, and females of this breed give birth very difficult. This is due to the structure of the body of animals, which, for the same reason, cannot bear a large offspring.
