An amazing example of the loyalty of a dog did not occur in the film, and not even in the book, but in the Sverdlovsk region. Someone tied his dog to a tree, near the forest, and forgot about it.

The locals decided to untie the dog, thus giving it the opportunity to find its home, but, nevertheless, the dog did not leave his place. It seems that he is waiting for his master or guarding the place where he was left. This has been going on for several days. For a while, the dog leaves to drink, and, fortunately, compassionate summer residents feed the animal. The dog does not let anyone near him, but the workers of the service for looking after homeless animals are going to catch the dog in a painless way, and take him to the shelter so that the dog does not torment himself and dies of hunger and cold. This problem will be solved in a few days.
