Gastromison stellatus
Gastromyzon stellatus, scientific name Gastromyzon stellatus, belongs to the family Balitoridae (River loaches). Endemic to the island of Borneo, known only in the basin of the Skrang and Lupar rivers in the Malaysian state of Sarawak, on the northeastern tip of the island.
The fish reaches a length of up to 5.5 cm. Sexual dimorphism is weakly expressed, males and females are practically indistinguishable, the latter are somewhat larger. The color is dark brown with numerous yellow specks of irregular shape.
