Facts about the Dalmatian
Did you know that a purebred Dalmatian can be the so-called “lemon color”? Although the spots are red, and the rim of the eyes is black. The breeders in the FCI system are trying very hard to get rid of this gene, and we personally really like it. There is even a kennel in Germany – Exotic Spots, specializing in red and long-haired Dalmatians.

- Dalmatians are born white, sometimes even with pink noses, and the spots appear later and last a lifetime!
