budget aquarium
Aquarium – optional expensive. An aquarium can be created with any budget, even the smallest. However, in this case, the following principles should be followed..If we are dealing with a minimum budget for aquarium equipment, we need to focus not on what we want, but on the maximum that can be done for the available funds. That is, we choose those fish for which it is possible, by spending little money, to create a beautiful habitat. And the best choice in this case is a cockerel.
In the photo: Cockerelfish is ideal for a budget aquarium. Of course, there are other interesting fish that can live in a small aquarium, but caring for them is much more difficult, it is especially difficult to maintain the desired water parameters: chemical composition, gas balance, temperature, etc. In general, there are many nuances. In its wild, natural habitat, the cockerel is not such a beautiful, gray fish. What we see in pet stores is an ornamental variety. But in nature, they also live in very small reservoirs, even practically in puddles. Therefore, they are very convenient to maintain. This fish is less demanding on the quality of water in the aquarium, breathes oxygen from the air and at the same time looks very impressive.
Cockerel fish is so easy to keep that it can be kept in the most “budget” aquarium, but it is very beautiful. The life expectancy of a cockerel fish is short (about 3 years), but at the same time they often have time to participate in championships for the title of the best fish. Cockerels are very interesting in behavior. Males fight males to the death. During breeding, if the female did not manage to escape from the nest in time, the male can kill her. The male takes care of the fry: he creates foam from air bubbles on the surface of the water and throws eggs there, which the female throws. Watching all this is very exciting. But for all this to happen, you still need to make an effort. For example, to keep two fish in two containers, side by side, so that they can see each other, to combine them in time, that is, not to leave everything to chance. However, for an ordinary person who wants to swim in a small aquarium (and not die too quickly ) a fish that needs minimal care is a great option. Just change all the water once a week, put a drop of conditioner there so that the fish does not jump out from the stress of fresh water, pour in a little food (preferably live, but you can also feed it dry), keep the aquarium at a temperature of at least 1 C – and that’s all .
