Description
This miniature fish reaches a length of no more than 3 cm. Catfish leads an active lifestyle, which affected its appearance. The body is slender with well developed fins necessary for fast swimming. The head is large with large eyes that help to catch the dim light in muddy waters. For orientation and search, sensitive antennae located near the mouth also help.

Maintenance and care, arrangement of the aquarium
The optimal size of the aquarium for a flock of 5-6 fish starts from 50 liters. The design welcomes the presence of a dark substrate and several areas with dense aquatic vegetation.
It is most active in low light conditions. In the daytime, with the lights on, it will tend to take cover. For this reason, it is desirable to provide places where catfish could hide.
The content is quite simple. It is necessary to provide soft slightly acidic water and a relatively low temperature for a tropical species – no higher than 25 ° C. Aquarium maintenance is standard. The minimum list of mandatory procedures includes a weekly replacement of part of the water with fresh water, the removal of organic waste, and preventive maintenance of equipment.
It is worth noting that the patterned glass Bagrus does not respond well to strong currents, the source of which can be a filtration system. When choosing a filter, you should give preference to models with soft cleaning, which do not create excessive water movement.
Food
Omnivorous, accepts most popular dry (flakes, pellets), frozen and live/fresh foods of suitable size, such as brine shrimp, bloodworms, daphnia, etc.
