1. Your dog is as smart as a two year old. Why do dogs and babies get along so well? They speak the same language! Or at least they know the same number of words – 250.
2. Many people think that dogs see the world in black and white, but this is not true – our pets distinguish colors. Plus, they can see in the dark!
3. Dogs are mentioned 14 times in the Bible, but cats are not.
4. Dogs can smell your emotions! By smell, pets determine fear and pain, they can detect diseases. The dog is also one of the first to know about the addition to the family.
5. Puppies of small breeds mature faster than larger ones.
6. Just like humans, your pet can be right-handed or left-handed too!
7. Dogs wag their tails three times: when they are happy, scared, or intrigued. Satisfied dogs keep their tail on a par with their backs, alarmed dogs press it, and interested ones raise it.
8. The oldest dog in the world, the Australian Cattle Dog, was 29 years old. A real longevity.
9. A dog’s nose print is as unique as our fingerprints. It can even be used for an identification system.
10. And here is the most important fact. Puppies are born blind, deaf and toothless. But they are born cute!
